Three reasons why we recommend Orange Lucre Marmalade

01. Using whole citrus fruits from Ehime Prefecture

Citrus fruits are essential for making marmalade.

Ehime Prefecture is known as the citrus kingdom, with a wide variety of citrus fruits, and the warm climate makes the taste exceptional.

Orange Lucre marmalade uses citrus fruits grown with love by farmers as its raw material.

There are various ways to make marmalade, but in

order to make the most of the deliciousness and nutrients of the citrus fruits in the product, we use almost the entire citrus fruit, cutting off the stem part.

(The stem that is cut off is used to extract the aromatic components and turn them into aroma products.)

By reducing waste and not boiling the fruit, we are working on a manufacturing method that is environmentally friendly.

02. Safe, additive-free, handmade production method

As mentioned above, by using whole citrus fruits, we can create marmalade that has a firm jelly part even without additives.

This is because the pectin, which is found in the seeds, the inner pulp and veins of the peel, and the pouch that encases the fruit, is thoroughly extracted.

Even without adding pectin as an additive, the natural pectin in the citrus fruits makes for a delicious marmalade.

Since it is natural, the concentration of pectin varies depending on the citrus fruits used and the quality of the year. Even

if you make it the same way, the jelly part may end up being too loose on that day

. That is also one of the fun parts of making marmalade.

At Orange Lucre, we do everything by hand, from washing and preparing the citrus peels to bottling them, sticking labels on them, and putting them on display in the store.

Therefore, we cannot produce thousands of marmalades at once, but we carefully produce them

every day, as if we were raising our own children, checking the temperature of the day, the condition of the citrus fruits used, and the quality of the finished product in the pot one by one.

03. Deliciousness that makes you want to give it to someone special

"I received it as a gift, and it was so delicious that I want to give it as a gift too..."

Thankfully, this is the most common question we receive by phone from customers.

Marmalade may not be something you are familiar with.

I think that there are many people who have bitter memories of the marmalade served in school lunches when they were in elementary school and have become estranged from it. Many

customers who come to our store say, "Marmalade is a bit..."

However, it is Orange Lucre's marmalade that we would like such people to try.

"My image of marmalade has changed!"

This is also a comment we often hear from our customers. (Thank you so much!)

I found something delicious! I want that person to try this!

Both the giver and the recipient will feel excited and happy with the comforting taste.

We deliver such marmalade.
